I’ve been wanting to visit this new Taiwanese restaurant for a while now, and I’m disappointed that I didn’t get around to it sooner. The fan Tuan was amazing, the purple rice made it unique, and the peanut milk was also quite tasty. I’m definitely planning to return and try the turnip cake!

I’ve been asking for a legit danbing place for years and there’s finally one in NYC!!! Whenever I visit Taiwan I would eat a cheese danbing every morning because I know I can’t get it back home. This place is the real deal they make the batter from scratch (none of the frozen skin BS) and it’s QQ on the inside and crisp in the outside 🤤 Also got the fantuan with the works (egg and sausage) and it was so filling I had to pack half of it home. The yotiao was so crispy and the rice is perfectly proportioned. The pork floss sandwich was so good it’s like the salad dressing I used to eat at my grandmas house. I asked where to buy it and the owner told me they make the mayo from scratch 😮 Everything on the menu was super affordable compared to the rest of the neighborhood. I’m definitely going to become a regular. I’ll be back to try the black pepper teppan noodle.

Had such a great time trying this spot and the flavors were really there — everything was delicious! Total throwback vibes cus it reminded me of the 美而美 breakfast in Taiwan (especially the sandwiches) The turnip cake wowed me!! I wasn't expecting that level of crispness and the crunch was so good. The dan bing was soooo good. Great dough, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The black pepper noodles were so good too, especially paired with the fried chicken, such a great combo! The fantuan was solid and I really liked the rice-to-filling ratio. Adding egg and sausage was the right move, the combo is so fire. The cucumbers in the sandwich were refreshing and the mayo was on point (made just like the mayo in taiwan!!!) The soy milk sweetness level was chef's kiss and not a lot of places can get the sweetness level right. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SPOT AND WOULD DEFINITELY COME EVERYDAY IF I COULD!!!

So happy we finally have a Taiwanese breakfast spot in the neighborhood! The staff was so friendly and the food tasted super authentic. My favorite was the chicken cutlet, which reminded me of rockstar chicken in Taiwan. Will definitely be back for brunch again!

So happy Taiwanese breakfast is so accessible now. The fantuan was huge and the turnip cake and chicken were perfectly crispy. Also loved the soy milk - it was the perfect level of sweetness. The donut was also good! Can’t wait to order from here again
